PWDAN Conference

Bringing TalkuTalku Limited's in-house design to life, I engineered the entire web platform to power PWDAN's flagship continental healthcare conference in Lagos. The platform gives delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors from over 30 African countries a friction-free way to explore the event, register in English or French, pay securely in their preferred currency, and manage group tickets. Behind the scenes, the event team gets a central operations hub that eliminates manual spreadsheet headaches by automating attendee credentialing, sponsor pipelines, invoice generation, and fast QR code check-ins at the venue.

The Challenge

Organizing a major pan-African conference with delegates from dozens of countries usually creates severe administrative bottlenecks. The team faced the challenge of managing multi-currency payments, language barriers between English and French speaking participants, custom membership verification workflows, and separate onboarding tracks for high-tier sponsors and exhibitors. Without a unified system, processing registrations and handling on-site check-in threatened to cause long venue queues and endless manual back-and-forth.

The Approach

I developed a unified, highly automated web application that handles every phase of the event lifecycle with zero friction. Attendees get an intuitive self-serve portal for registration, multi-currency checkout, and instant digital ticket delivery. Meanwhile, organizers gain a real-time administrative command center that tracks sponsor deliverables on visual boards, verifies association member discounts, issues official receipts automatically, and scans attendee QR badges at the door in seconds.
